Weekend Worship
Eucharist (Holy Communion) is offered on Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m.
Evening Worship
A quiet, reflective service of Scripture, songs, and prayers is held on Wednesdays at 7 p.m., with a rite of healing with anointing on the fourth Wednesday of each month. During the Lenten season the service begins later.
Worship Assistants
Do you enjoy reading or praying in public or marching in procession or setting a table or making people feel at home? Perhaps you’d like to serve as a worship assistant.
There are many roles available to serve in public roles and behind the scenes in the worship life of King of Kings. Altar Guild members prepare the sanctuary for worship and clean up afterwards. Ushers welcome worshipers and hand out bulletins, collect the offering, and guide worshipers to communion. The procession (at the beginning of the service) and the recession (at the end) are led by a Crucifer, who carries the cross, and an Acolyte, who lights the candles and presents the offering at the altar. Lectors read Scripture lessons and prayers, either on Sunday, Wednesday or Saturday. Communion Assistants lead some of the prayers and assist in distributing communion.
Adult Choirs
Do you enjoy music? In choirs at King of Kings you can sing and/or ring! No experience or auditions necessary.
